Understanding Related Items
In the previous lesson, we looked at Like Items, and saw that clicking the Like Items button will bring up items that are the same type of item being viewed, but can come from different manufacturers of that type of item. The Related Items button works differently. Clicking the Related Items button will give you a list of items from that family of items. They may be the same model, or very similar, but have slightly different characteristics. Let's see an example.

As before, we're viewing the item details for a Remington 20 gauge shotgun. Let's click on the Related Items button to view a list of items within this family of products.
List Of Related Items
This is the list of Related Items for the particular shotgun we were viewing. As you can see, all of these items are in the Remington Sportsman family of products. Let's take a closer look by comparing a few of these items listed.
Compare Related Items
You'll see that these shotguns are all from the Remington Sportsman family, but you'll notice that they have slightly different characteristics. Two of these items are 12 gauge, while one is 20 gauge. Two of the items have a 26" barrel length, while one has a 28" barrel length. All of the items, however, are within the same family of Remington Sportsman shotguns.
