Using the Search Box
The Search box is a convenient way to find very speicifc results for what you are looking for. Simply type in the name of a manufacturor, a type of item, or a scan code to search for an item you're looking for. In this example, we'll use the search box located on the Brand Selection screen.
Search for 'Nikon'
This is a search for 'Nikon.' As you can see, it has returned results from the manufacturer, Nikon. From this screen, you can refine the result further by using the category buttons in the lower portion of the screen, and search specifically for items within a certain category.
Search For 'HG45C'
Let's go back to the Brand Selection screen and try a new search. Instead of searching for a brand, we'll search for a scan code. Let's search for 45 Long Colt handguns.
Results for 'HG45C'
Here, we've done a new search using the scan code, 'HG45C.' This gives us a list of all the 45 Colt handguns. This search can be further refinded as well using the category buttons in the lower portion of the screen. You can then select an item and click View Item to view its details, and add it to your wish list or shopping cart.
Brand Searches
Another location you'll find a search box after you select a brand. Selecting a brand will bring up a Category screen where you can select which category of item you're looking for within that brand. When you select a category, a search box will also appear, allowing you to search within the selected category for that particular brand. In this example, we'll search for 45 caliber Remington pistols by simply typing 45 into the search box.
Precisely Filtered Results
When we complete this search, we're presented with a list of items matching the search criteria. We searched for "45" while selecting Pistols within the Remington brand, so we are given a list of 45 caliber Remengton pistols. Using the search box is an easy way to filter out items you're not looking for, and find exactly what you need.
